LADY IRISH BLOW BY HATHAWAY BROWN

CANFIELD, OH- Day 2 of the Holiday Hoops Classic at South Range found Ursuline and Hathaway Brown in action. Ursuline would find victory with Anisah Moorman reaching double digits in points. The Fighting Irish held the Blazers to 36 points in the game. The Irish beat the Blazers 56-36 in the first game of day 2 of the tournament.
First-quarter was led by the Fighting Irish playing tough defense making the score 16-6. Moorman for the Irish had 7 points in the quarter with Ava Warcaba for the Blazers had 4 of their 6 points. Second-quarter, Moorman added to her total and the Irish increased their lead to 33-14. Warcaba added 5 more this quarter to keep her team in the game.
In the third quarter, the Blazers got into foul trouble early and plagued them the rest of the game. Irish Guard Paris Gilmore had 5 points in the third quarter alone to help her team. The final quarter was highlighted by Alayna Smith of the Irish coming off the bench and scoring 4 points. The Irish beat the Blazers 56-36.
