LADY QUAKERS BREAK THE ICE ON JACKSON

SALEM, OH-The Lady Quakers beat a full-strength Massillon Jackson team that made a final-four appearance in Division 1 in 2022. The Lady Quakers played a tight game but were able to withstand the polar bears 45-39.

For the Lady Quakers Abbie Davidson had 14 points, Lauryn Barton added 12 points and they each had 3 steals apiece. Rylee Hutton was a monster on the boards ripping down 7 boards and adding 10 points while Kami Rohm controlled the paint and added 4 blocks and 4 points. Zoie Reid and Kaylee Carlisle each made a major contribution on both ends at key points.

The Quakers will host NDCL on Saturday with JV starting at 12. Following the JV game, Salem will honor their seniors.

In JV action, the Quakers fell just short 35-37. Reese Davidson-Chuck had 16 points.
