LADY RAIDERS FALL BEHIND EARLY, FALLS TO WEST BRANCH

BELOIT, OH- The South Range Lady Raiders fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 6-0 loss to West Branch on Tuesday. West Branch scored on a double by Mercer in the first inning, a triple by Ritto in the first inning, and a triple by Heath in the second inning.

Anderson got the start for West Branch. She surrendered zero runs on zero hits over seven innings, striking out seven and walking one.

Bree Kohler toed the rubber for the Lady Raiders. She lasted three innings, allowing four hits and four runs while striking out six and walking zero. Reagan Irons threw three innings in relief.

West Branch collected nine hits on the day. Heath and Ritto each had multiple hits for West Branch. Heath went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead West Branch in hits. West Branch didn’t commit a single error in the field. Blake had nine chances in the field, the most on the team.
