LADY RAIDERS MAKE PRESENCE FELT AGAINST POLAND

CANFIELD, OH- Juli Stachowicz shut down Poland, throwing a complete game shutout and leading South Range to a 9-0 victory on Wednesday

South Range secured the victory thanks to six runs in the sixth inning. The offensive firepower by the Raiders was led by Gretchen Bartels, Keira Brogan, and Stachowicz, all driving in runs in the frame.

South Range opened up scoring in the first inning. Samantha Susany singled on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs.

The Lady Raiders tallied six runs in the sixth inning. South Range’s offense in the inning was led by Bartels, Brogan, and Stachowicz, who all drove in runs.

A pair of singles by Boccieri in the first inning was a positive for Poland.

Stachowicz took the win for South Range. The lefty surrendered zero runs on five hits over seven innings, striking out nine.

Katie McDonald was in the circle for Poland. The bulldog allowed 14 hits and nine runs over six innings, striking out three and walking one.

The Raiders tore the cover off the softball and tallied two home runs on the day. Brogan had a homer in the sixth inning. Stachowicz went yard in the sixth inning as well.

South Range tallied 14 hits. Stachowicz, Jamie Feren, Kelly Szolek, Bartels, and Brogan each had multiple hits for the Raiders. Szolek, Feren, and Stachowicz each collected three hits to lead the way. South Range
