LADY RAIDERS ROLL 13-0 BEHIND WEAVER

MYRTLE BEACH, SC- Madison Weaver threw a shutout to lead South Range past Liberty 13-0 on Friday. The Lady Raiders secured the victory thanks to ten runs in the first inning. The rally was led by singles by Hope Thomas, Maddie Helon, Hanna Dennison, and Weaver, a walk by Bree Kohler, a triple by Thomas, and a home run by Dani Vuletich.  South Range opened up scoring in the first inning, when Thomas singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run.  Weaver went the distance for South Range. She lasted five innings, allowing two hits and zero runs while striking out five.

Offensively, the Raiders tallied 13 hits on the day. Vuletich, Kohler, and Thomas each racked up multiple hits for South Range. Thomas, Kohler, and Vuletich each collected two hits to lead South Range. South Range didn’t commit a single error in the field.
