LADY TIGERS TAME HEARTLAND CHRISTIAN

WELLSVILLE, OH- The Wellsville Lady Tigers started their season off on the right paw beating Heartland Christian 48-41.

Hunter Weekley was the game-high scorer with 23. She also had 12 rebounds.  Cameron Carlevale had 10 points and 5 assists while Camryn Jackson had 5 assists  Leah Vinton had 6 steals for the Tigers as well

Heartland was led by Sydney Ogden who had 16 points and 7 blocks. Sophia Stambaugh also had 9 points.
Game notes: this is Wellsville’s first opening night win since 2012-2013 season.
It is also the first career victory for head coach  Corey Creamer.
The Lady Tigers will be in action on Tuesday night at 6 pm at home against Edison.
