LAKEVIEW SALVAGES SATURDAY WITH BIG WIN OVER STOW

STOW, OHIO- The Lakeview Bulldogs took the lead late in the game in a 7-4 victory over Stow-Munroe Falls on Saturday.

The Bulldogs collected eight hits on the day as Maggie Pavlansky, Price, and Hallie Capan all managed multiple hits to lead at the plate.

The game was tied at three with Lakeview batting in the top of the sixth when Reagan Price doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

After the Bulldogs scored one run in the top of the seventh, Stow-Munroe Falls answered with one of their own. The Bulldogs scored again when Hallie Capan doubled on a 2-0 count, scoring one run.

Ella Chadwick led things off on the rubber for the Bulldogs as the righty went four innings, allowing one run on seven hits, striking out one and walking zero.

Lakeview will back on the diamond when they travel to Jefferson on Monday to take on the Falcons.
