LAKEVIEW SENDS CHALKER AWAY EMPTY HANDED

CORTLAND OH- Mack Stowe was clutch at the plate with ducks on the pond on Friday, driving in four on three hits to lead Lakeview past Chalker 8-1 on Friday. Stowe drove in runs on a single in the first, a home run in the third, and a single in the fourth.

Lakeview opened up scoring in the first inning, when Hallie Capan doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.

The Bulldogs notched three runs in the fourth inning. Stowe and Izzy Haines all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.

Isabella Isenberg toed the rubber for Lakeview. Isenberg allowed one hit and one run over three innings, striking out three and walking one.

Lakeview hit one home run on the day. Stowe put one out in the third inning.

The Bulldogs racked up 14 hits on the day. Stowe, Kalyssa Werner, and Gianna Caruso all collected multiple hits. Caruso, Werner, and Stowe each collected three hits to lead.
