LATE INNING EXPLOSION PROPELS RANGE OVER NILES
NILES, OH- The South Range Raiders had everything working on Monday, winning big over Niles McKinley 12-1.
South Range scored six runs in the fifth inning. The Raiders offense in the inning was led by Josh Stear, Trey Pancake, Jared Bajerski, Ben Rivera, Jaxon Anderson, and Brandon Mikos, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.
Jake Gehring led the Raiders to victory on the hill. He allowed four hits and one run over five innings, striking out ten and walking one.
Corbin Foy took the loss for McKinley. He allowed 11 hits and nine runs over four innings, walking one.
The Raiders totaled 14 hits. Kris Scandy, Jard Bajerski, Dylan Dominguez, Jaxon Anderson, and Josh Stear all managed multiple hits for South Range. Kris Scandy led the Raiders with three hits in three at-bats.
Nick Guarnieri went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead McKinley in hits.
