LATE RALLY PUSHES PROSPECTS TO VICTORY

STRUTHERS OH- Timely hitting was the key on Monday night for the Prospects. With the game tied at 1-1 in the top of the 6th, the Prospects put up 2 runs. That would be enough to hold off Whiting Roll-Offs for a 3-1 victory.

Jared Mindek was clutch for the Prospects going 2-3 with 2 RBI. David Leslie went 1-3 with a RBI as well. Jeremy Kreuzwieser went 2-4 and scored 2 runs.

Chase Morrison had the lone hit for the Roll-Offs going 1-2. Ben Dottle scores their only run.

Shane Cato was dominant on the mound for the Prospects giving up just 1 hit in 7 innings pitched, striking out 7.

Jake Vitale, and Zach Phillis split the pitching for the Roll Offs. Phillis went 4 innings giving up just 1 run on 3 hits.
