LEOPARDS POWER THEIR WAY TO A DISTRICT TITLE

JEFFERSON OH-  Louisville brought the bats and punched their ticket to the regional semis with a 10-7 win over Revere on Friday.

The Leopards wasted no time setting the tone. Anna Sirohman doubled down the line to get things going in the first, and Bailee Griffith grounded one out to bring another run home. By the time the second inning rolled around, Louisville had already put up a crooked number—thanks to RBI singles from Sirohman and Addy Campbell.

The Minutemen tried to hang around, but Louisville kept the pressure on. In the sixth, Campbell added another RBI with a sac liner before Griffith crushed a two-run bomb to center that gave the Leopards some much-needed breathing room.

Katelynn Miller got the win in the circle, working five innings and striking out six while battling through some traffic. Taylor Schneider came in to shut the door and grab the save.

Leah Claugus was locked in from the leadoff spot, going 4-for-5 and setting the table all night. Sirohman finished 2-for-3 and knocked in three, while Taylor Thompson chipped in with a pair of hits of her own.

Revere didn’t go quietly. Paige and Alexa Kelley helped lead the charge, with Alexa going 3-for-4 and five different players driving in a run. But it wasn’t enough to slow down the Leopard offense. Louisville racks up 12 hits and another district title. Next stop: regional semifinals.
