LEOPARDS SNAP SALEM’S WIN STREAK

LOUISVILLE OH- Salem came in to Wednesday nights game in Louisville on a big hot streak. However, the Leopards cooled them off by holding them to no runs on 4 hits. That was plenty to give Louisville a 2-0 win.

Connor Morley was a problem at the plate for Louisville. He went 3-3 on the day. Those 3 hits were half of the total team hits. JT Popick went 1-2 with a RBI. Charlie Roberts also stacked up a RBI on the day for the Leopards.

Anthony Warner threw a gem on the mound. He went all 7 innings and gave up 0 runs on 4 hits. He struck out 9 batters while only walking 2.

Carson Rhodes went 2-3 at the plate to lead the Quakers offense. Brock Young went 1-2 on the day as well.

Gavin Wilms pitched well despite the loss. He went 6.0 innings pitched. He gave up 2 runs, neither of them were earned, and he gave up 6 hits. He struck out 5 and walked 3.
