LEUGERS’ LOCKED IN

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio- There is a lot of experience when you look up and down the Ursuline defensive line, and you don’t have to look much further than Casey Leugers to see that with experience, comes skill. Leugers, who is now in his third season starting on the defensive line for the Irish, has already proven to be a game changer Ursuline in 2022. Ursuline has already made two deep playoff appearances during Leugers’ time making an impact for the Irish, making it to the Regional Final in 2020, and then advancing all the way to Week 16 last year, coming up just short in the State Championship Game. The 2022 squad is looking to take that next step, and hoist the golden hardware come this December, and Leugers could play a big role in that happening.
