LISBON AND WELLSVILLE BATTLE TO TIE

LISBON, OH- You know what they say about ties…Tuesday night provided one.  One of 2 for Wellsville this season.  Lisbon and Wellsville played to a 7-7 tie on Tuesday.  The Blue Devils tied the game on a Josh Entrikin single in the seventh inning.

After Wellsville scored two runs in the top of the fifth, Lisbon answered with two of their own. Wellsville scored when an error scored one run for Wellsville and Connor Ramsey grounded out, scoring one run. The Blue Devils then answered when Blake Reynolds singled on the first pitch of the at-bat, scoring one run and Garrett Cox singled on the first pitch of the at-bat, scoring one run.

Lisbon racked up ten hits. Justin SweeneyEntrikin, and Nick Mundy each managed multiple hits for the Blue DevilsMundyEntrikin, and Sweeney each managed two hits to lead the team.

Wellsville collected seven hits. Ramsey and Suggs all managed multiple hits for Wellsville.
