LISBON RIDES HOT STREAK; LASSO COWBOYS

LISBON, OH-Brayden Flory wasted no opportunities at the plate on Thursday, driving in four on two hits to lead Lisbobn past Chaney 11-1 on Thursday. Flory drove in runs on a single in the first, a groundout in the second, and a single in the third.

Lisbon grabbed an early lead when they scored on a single by Daimen McCormick, a single by Flory, a single by Haiden Colvin, and a groundout by Gage Owens in the first inning.

The Blue Devils tallied four runs in the third inning. Lisbon’s offense in the inning came from a single by Flory and a groundout by Hunter Sturgeon.

Flory earned the victory on the hill for Lisbon as well. The righty lasted five innings, allowing three hits and one run while striking out nine.

Cohen took the loss for Chaney. Cohen went two innings, allowing six runs on five hits and striking out three.

The Blue Devils totaled 12 hits in the game. Colvin, McCormick, Ryan Reckner, and Flory each collected multiple hits for Lisbon. Reckner, McCormick, and Colvin each collected three hits to lead the team.

Sly led Chaney with two hits in two at-bats.
