MAKOSKY HAS BIG NIGHT, COLUMBIANA SOARS PAST JFK

COLUMBIANA, OH- Columbiana’s Marissa Makosky showed several leadership qualities on Tuesday night against Warren JFK.  Makosky was able to garner a double-double on the stat sheet and highlight her versatility with 18 assists, 14 points, and 3 aces and lead the way for the Clippers in a 25-10, 25-20, 25-10 sweep of the Lady Eagles.

Makosky was aided by her teammates in the win.  Tori Long had 8 kills, 7 digs, and an ace, while Maddie Witherow had 16 points, 4 kills and a pair of aces.  Maci Linhart had 12 digs and a trio of aces.  Also contributing was Grace Witmer with 8 assists and 7 kills and Madison Moser with 8 points, 6 kills, and a pair of aces.

Columbiana will continue non-conference play Wednesday against Heartland.
