MCBETH TOSSES NO HITTER AS JAYS TAKE OUT FRUSTRATION

NORTH JACKSON OH- Brena McBeth was brilliant in the pitcher’s circle on Thursday, as she threw a no-hitter to lead Jackson-Milton past John F. Kennedy Catholic 20-1.

The Blue Jays was boosted by Paige Grope who went 4-for-6 at the plate. Grope doubled in the second, doubled in the fifth, singled in the sixth, and singled in the sixth.

Jackson-Milton got on the board in the second inning when Cora Pettry grounded out, scoring one run.

The Blue Jays scored 12 runs in the sixth inning. Emily Fultz, Camelia Blackmon, Maggie Simkins, Ivy McBeth, Grope, and Mia Greco powered the big inning with RBIs.

McBeth got the win for Jackson-Milton. The pitcher surrendered one run on zero hits over six innings, striking out 16.

The Blue Jays socked two home runs on the day. McBeth had a dinger in the third inning. Greco went yard in the sixth inning.

Jackson-Milton racked up 20 hits on the day. Grope, McBeth, Fultz, Blackmon, McBeth, Greco, Grace Johns, and Macayle Thornhill all collected multiple hits. Grope went 4-for-6 at the plate to lead the way.
