COLUMBIANA, OHIO – A shutout in the pitchers circle and solid offense was the recipe to victory for McDonald as they beat Crestview 11-0 on Thursday.

McDonald got after it in the top of the first inning, bringing home three runs on singles by Gianna Mancini and Kylie Koma as well as a double by Jenna Helco. Miley Titus, Alicia Morrison, and Addison Edwards each had multi-hit games for McDonald. The Blue Devils scored six more runs in the top of the third inning and two more in the top of the seventh inning.

Isabella O’Brien came out as the winning pitcher, going the full seven innings allowing no runs, two hits allowed, three walks, and sitting down 14 Crestview batters via the strikeout.
