MIKOS NOTCHES ANOTHER NO NO AS RANGE ROUTS INDIANS

CANFIELD, OH – Brandon Mikos was brilliant on the pitcher’s mound on Thursday, as Mikos threw a no-hitter to lead South Range past Girard 18-0. Trey Pancake led the Raiders to victory by driving in four runs. Pancake Went 3-for-3 at the plate. Pancake drove in runs on 2 doubles in the first, and a walk in the third.

Mikos was the winning pitcher for South Range. He allowed zero hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out 12 and walking one. Dominic Bengalla took the loss for Girard. The pitcher lasted two innings, allowing five hits and nine runs. South Range racked up ten hits on the day. Pancake and Billy Skripac all managed multiple hits for the Raiders. Pancake’s 3-for-3 at the plate led South Range in hits.The Raiders didn’t commit a single error in the field. Pancake had 12 chances in the field, the most on the team.
