MILTON DOMINATES THEIR RIVAL

BERLIN CENTER OH- Western Reserve watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 10-0 loss to Jackson-Milton on Monday. The Blue Jays scored on a double by Billy Sloan and on a wild pitch in the first inning.

In the first inning, Jackson-Milton got their offense started when Sloan doubled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.

One bright spot for Western Reserve was a single by Hunter Stacy in the fourth inning.

Sloan earned the win for Jackson-Milton. The bulldog allowed two hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out ten and walking one.

Stacy took the loss for the Blue Devils. The southpaw went one and one-third innings, allowing seven runs on four hits, striking out one and walking one.

Brayden Saunders and Stacy each had one hit to lead Western Reserve.

Jackson-Milton racked up eight hits on the day. Aaren Romigh and Drew Sloan each managed multiple hits to lead the way.
