MOONEY CAGES THE WILDCATS

STRUTHERS OH- Mooney and Struthers are both trying to get some tournament tune ups in the last week of the season before the tournaments start. On Monday night, it was Mooney that struck the right chord and got the win over Struthers in 3 sets. (25-20 25-22 25-14)

Alaina Scavina led the offense gathering 14 kills on the night, and she also earned a double double finishing with 11 digs. Alaina Francis also finished with a double double finishing with 12 kills, and 18 digs. Angelina Rotunno set up 35 assists on the night. Addison Stacy led the defense with 20 digs.

For Struthers, Sam day finished with 20 receptions, 8 digs, 3 points. Abby Purnell with 11 service points, 2 aces, and 6 digs. Sophia Kavouras and Faith Stellato each with 4 kills. Marissa Metzka with 2 kills and 6 blocks. Mickey Taaffe with 7 assists, 1 kill, 6 digs.

Mooney returns to action Tuesday traveling to rival Ursuline for their second matchup of the season with the Irish. Struthers goes back to the NE8 on Wednesday as they travel to Poland.
