MOONEY GIRLS TAKE HOME HIGHLY CONTESTED DISTRICT TITLE

Tied with Springfield going into the last race of the district meet, Cardinal Mooney girls 4×400 squad sealed up the district championship for the team!

The group of Sammy Rotunno, Sophia Diorio, and My’Kayla and My’Kiah Jones took first place!
Earlier in the week, the 4×800 team of Abigail Markey, Sylvia Tsarnas, Sophia Diorio, and Janasia Britt took home the district title in that event, and moved on to regionals.

My’Kayla Jones also punched her ticket to regionals with a third-place finish in the high jump!
