MOONEY MUSCLES THEIR WAY PAST EAST

A 16-run first inning led Cardinal Mooney to a 19-1 victory over East on Tuesday. The offensive firepower by the Cardinals was led by Cam Sweeney, Cole Litman, Jim Campbell, Jack Desmond, Bronson Ferencak, and Tim Reardon, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Cardinal Mooney fired up the offense in the first inning. Sweeney drove in one when he singled.

Reardon led the Cardinal Mooney to victory on the mound. The pitcher allowed one hit and one run over three innings, striking out five. Jack Pepperney threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

The Cardinals racked up 19 hits. Nolan Radinsky, Matt Kay, Ferencak, Sweeney, Pepperney, and Desmond all managed multiple hits. Radinsky led with three hits in four at bats. Jeff Brenner led with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with six as a team.
