NABF: INSTANT CLASSIC BETWEEN CREEKSIDE AND ROTH SETS TABLE FOR TITLE GAME

STRUTHERS, OH- After blazing through NABF Junior pool play, Creekside Fitness was put to the test on Sunday against their Class B rival, Roth Brothers.

Creekside Fitness and Roth Brothers played an instant classic in the semi-finals of the NABF Junior World Series.  A tightly contested pitchers duel came down to a very risky move that proved to be the game-winner.
Gabrial Yanssens executed a suicide squeeze with the bases loaded in the bottom of the seventh, plating Samuel Bosso for the walk-off victory.  Santino Campoli picked up the win for Creekside, allowing just four hits in a shutout performance, striking out seven and walking four.  Alex Tomsic suffered the tough-luck loss for Roth, yielding the game-winning run in a complete-game outing.  Tomsic gave up five hits while striking out nine and walking only two.
Tomsic along with three other Roth players each scratched out a hit in the game.
