NEWTON FALLS NEUTRALIZES WARRIORS

BROOKFIELD OH- Newton Falls handled business Tuesday night, locking down Brookfield 48-33 in a solid all-around performance.

Landon McGregor was the go-to guy, dropping 27 points to lead the charge. Phil Davis added 8, and Cameron Huff chipped in 7 as the Tigers kept Brookfield in check.

Blake Hammond did most of the heavy lifting for the Warriors with 23 points, while Judah DeJoy added 6, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace.

Newton Falls jumps right back into conference play Wednesday, hosting Liberty. Brookfield hits the road Friday for a tough matchup at Garfield.
