NEWTON FALLS RISES UP AGAINST REBELS

NEWTON FALLS, OH- Timing is everything, they say.  The Newton Falls Tigers used great timing to garner separation with a solid Crestview team.

The Tigers were led by Mac Haidet, who dropped 17 in the win.  Alex Pennington sunk double digits with 11 including five in the fourth quarter, alongside Carmello Moore’s 10.  Jabriel Rufai chipped in seven points in the first half of the contest.

Crestview was led by Kirkland Miller’s 20 points, along with going 4/5 at the line and eight field goals throughout the night.  Wyatt Miller went 4/4 at the line en route to 15 points in the contest.  James Best also contributed 7 points and 2 steals for the Rebs.  Matt Lindsay led the way in boards with five.

The Tigers swell their record to 8-2 overall and 3-1 in the MVAC.  Crestview falls to 6-5, and 2-2 in conference play.
