NILES NEEDS EVERY BIT OF FISHER’S NO HITTER

STRUTHERS OH- It was a straight up pitcher’s duel on Tuesday night between Niles and Struthers. A big NE8 matchup ended in a 1-0 decision going the way of the Dragons. It was a no hitter by Dragons senior Anthony Fisher that led them to victory.

Despite only having one run, and it coming in the top of the 7th Niles racked up 11 hits. Fisher went 3-3 at the plate and scored the only run of the game. Michael Guarnieri Jr. had multiple hits going 2-3. Jordan Streamo also went 2-3 on the day.

Fisher threw the no hitter for Niles. He was a couple errors away from a perfect game. He struck out 9 and walked none. He did it in just 90 pitches.
