NORDONIA FINDS THEMSELVES IN THE TIGERS JAWS

HOWLAND, OHIO- Howland Tigers cruised to an easy victory over the Nordonia Knights 12-2 on Saturday.

The Tigers got things moving in the first inning when Alyssa Massucci hit a solo homer, then they put up three runs in the third inning. Contributing to the big inning included Callie Vardavas and Massucci, who each had RBIs in the inning.

Alexia Spangler was the winning pitcher for Howland Tigers as the hurler went six innings, allowing two runs on seven hits and striking out 11. Larken Koran went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead the Knights in hits.

Amy Haselow started the game for Nordonia and pitched went five and a third innings, allowing 12 runs on 13 hits and striking out three.

Howland went on to face up against West Branch as well on Saturday.
