WINDHAM, OH- Lisbon’s Autumn Oehlstrom was in the zone on Tuesday, tallying four hits and leading the Lady Devils to a 22-3 win over Windham. Oehlstrom singled in the first, singled in the third, singled in the third, and tripled in the fourth to lead the attack.
Lisbon fired up the offense in the first inning. Justyce Vrable tripled on the first pitch of the at-bat, driving in a runner. Fast forward to the third when the Devils scored ten runs in the frame. Lisbon batters contributing to the big inning included Mya Emmerling, McKenna Dailey, Natalie Ammon, Kenedy Vrable, Vrable, and Emmerling, who each had RBIs in the inning.
Taylor Deland earned the win for Lisbon. She surrendered three runs on five hits over five innings, striking out four and walking one. Venstenberry took the loss for Windham. She went five innings, allowing 22 runs on 23 hits and striking out three.
The Lady Devil bats were smoking as the also smacked one home run on the day. Emmerling went for the long ball in the third inning. Lisbon incredibly racked up 24 hits in the game. Oehlstrom, Vrable, Emmerling, Dailey, Mallory Gallo, Emma Thompson, Vrable, and Ammon all collected multiple hits. Oehlstrom led Lisbon with four hits in five at-bats.
Showalter went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Windham in hits.
