CANFIELD, OH- A figure of Norse Mythology, and a revived popular member of the Avengers, Thor is the God of Thunder in the comic books.
On the record books, The God of Thunder carries an aluminum hammer, wears the number 12 rather than a cape, and summons lightning from the sky with his fastball on the bump.
Simply put, Canfield Baseball has built The Avengers in their dugout and leading the way on the field, in group chats, and in the community is senior, Nate Shaw.
With the (dyed) golden locks, calm demeanor, and intense competitive spirit, Shaw has kept the expectations for this season in check for the Cardinals as his squad creeps toward meaningful baseball in the playoffs.
