ORANGE MAKES PLAYS DOWN THE STRETCH

COURTESY ORANGE ATHLETICS

POLAND OHIO – If you love upsets this time of year on the hardwood, you got one Monday night. #24 Orange went into #16 Poland and snatched a 45-41 victory from the Bulldogs. Ernest Pryor came out focused, hitting an early three pointer to get the Lions going as he finished the game with 20 points. Poland’s offense answered the call as they evened up the score at the half. In a high scoring second half, Orange out scored Poland 30-26.

But what it came down to was big free throw making by Pryor and teammates Dominic Anekwe, Devin Belle and Henry Bonner. The Lions now shift their focus to Friday night for the sectional final game against Youngstown Chaney.
