POLAND PROVES TOO MUCH FOR DRAGONS

NILES OH- Poland traveled to Niles looking to snap a 2 game losing streak in early conference play in the Northeast 8. The Bulldogs were able to do so with a heavy running attack on offense. Quarterback Jack Fulton contributed 3 touchdowns in the winning effort with 2 touchdown tosses to Wide Receiver Ross Dedo. Bulldogs win 35-7.

The Bulldogs scored first with an 14 yard touchdown run by Jack Fulton gave Poland the early 7-0 lead. Poland controlled the first half scoring 3 unanswered touchdowns giving them the halftime lead of 21-0. Niles defense finished the second quarter with 2 interceptions though to give the Dragons some momentum going into the locker room.

Poland would continue to find a win to score in the 2nd half to take a commanding lead. Antuan Gardner got on the scoreboard for the Red Dragons though with a touchdown run but the Bulldogs proved too much. Niles (3-2) will host South Range next week while Poland (3-3) will travel to Girard.
