POLAND RESPONDS TO STAY A GAME AHEAD OF THE RAIDERS

POLAND OH- Poland showed great resiliency on Thursday as they got a much needed win over South Range, 4-2.

The Bulldogs got things started in the first inning when Bryce Barringer grounded out, scoring one run.

Dominic Elia led the Poland to victory on the hill. The southpaw went seven innings, allowing two runs on seven hits and striking out ten.

Tyson Tarajack toed the rubber for South Range. The pitcher lasted four and two-thirds innings, allowing three hits and four runs while striking out five. Logan Baxter threw one and one-third innings out of the bullpen.

Matt Paparodis led Poland with two hits in three at bats. The Bulldogs didn’t commit a single error in the field. Mike Daley had the most chances in the field with nine.

Tyler Wardle went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead South Range in hits.
