Poland won their Tuesday night contest against Girard, 6-2

Girard fired up the offense in the first inning. Anthony Dinard grounded out, scoring one run.

Poland knotted the game up at two in the top of the second inning.

Poland pulled away for good with three runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Bryce Barringer singled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run and Anthony Perry singled on a 1-2 count, scoring two runs.

Mason Planey got the win for the Bulldogs. Planey went six innings, allowing two runs on three hits and striking out nine. Dino Angelilli threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Dominic Bengala took the loss for Girard. The pitcher went seven innings, allowing six runs on six hits and striking out two.

Anthony Koulianos went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Poland in hits.
