BYESVILLE, OH- East Liverpool fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 10-0 loss to Meadowbrook on Tuesday. Meadowbrook scored on a single by Peyton Neff and a single by CJ Moore in the first inning and never looked back.
The Potters struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Meadowbrook, giving up ten runs in just four frames. In the first inning, Meadowbrook got their offense started. Meadowbrook scored one run when Neff singled.
Logan Fox took the win for Meadowbrook. He lasted five innings, allowing four hits and zero runs while striking out seven and walking zero.
Meadowbrook scattered ten hits in the game. Neff, Moore, and Boston Black each managed multiple hits for Meadowbrook. Neff led Meadowbrook with three hits in three at-bats. Meadowbrook was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Garrett Clendenning had the most chances in the field with seven.
