PRIDEFUL LIONS RUN PAST REBELS

COLUMBIANA, OH- Crestview scored three runs in the third inning, but Heartland Christian still won 13-4 on Thursday. Jesse McKee, Hunter DuVall, and Drew Dattilio powered the big inning with RBIs for the Rebs.

Heartland got on the board in the first inning. Will Morgan singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.  The Lions put up six runs in the second inning and were led by Drew Gault, Drew Walker, Seth Walker, and Brett Walker, who all drove in runs.

Walker got the win for the Lions. Walker went three innings, allowing four runs on three hits and striking out two. Walker threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Luke Julian took the loss for Crestview. The pitcher went two innings, allowing eight runs on six hits and striking out two.

Heartland racked up nine hits in the game. Gault and Morgan each had multiple hits for the Lions. Morgan and Gault each collected three hits to lead they way.
