PRIMETIME FOR CLINE

EAST LIVERPOOL OH- When you look at the numbers, Beaver Local quarterback Austin Cline doesn’t get out done by too many. He had a remarkable first year under center in the Beavers offense.  So the question coming in to 2022 was how would you raise the bar? The greatest athletes never settle. You can bet all your money that a line has not settled for one good season under his belt. He has put his head down and worked harder than ever before to reach new goals.  One of those goals set this season was to bring down the interception number from last year. Only throwing 6 INT in a season is good for most, but Cline isn’t satisfied with that. So far through three games he has only thrown 1 INT, so he is well on his way to having a lower number in 2022.

Cline took the time to come on YSN’s Running Point on Thursday to give us a look into his year. He talks with DJ Yokley, and Anthony Hartwig about the rivalry week against East Liverpool, some fun team nicknames you have to hear to believe, and much more. Check out the latest Beaver Local Football Player Profile only on YSN.
