PROSPECTS PEPPER ROTH

STRUTHERS, OH- The Prospects have been all teams have kept their eye on from afar, and quite a few times this season, the Buccos have raised a few eyebrows with their talent they show on a nightly basis.  Saturday was no different as the Prospects scored 5 runs in the third inning to take a lead they’d never give back en route to an 8-6 win over Roth Brothers.

Michael Galterio wore the crown on the day at the plate, going 3-4 with a pair of RBI.  Luca Massucci, and Jeremy Kreuzwieser joined Galterio as base burglars, each collecting a bag apiece.

Shane Cato had another nice outing for the Prospects (3-3) going 6 strong innings, scattering 5 hits while walking one and striking out four.  David Leslie came out of the pen to strike out one in one inning of work.

Ryan Sullivan was the tough luck loser as he pitched 3 innings, giving up 5 runs but none of them were earned.  Roth (2-3) would commit six errors in the contest that put them behind the 8-Ball, and The Prospects took advantage of the mistakes handed to them.

Zach Lockwich  and Justin Clevenger were the foundation for the runs for RBI, each driving in a pair.
