PUT MARRA IN THE RECORD BOOKS

BELOIT OH- West Branch’s offense has been on an astronomic level this season. They have every weapon an offensive coordinator could possibly ask for. They stand at only one game so far where they have scored less than 40 points. That was a 37-34 win over Howland. Running back Steven Marra has been a big key to the Warriors success.

Marra has quickly become one of the premiere backs in the area. His day to shine was in Week 5 against Canton South where he broke the program record for touchdowns in a game with 7. He firmly put his name in a record book that is filled with heroes from the past. Marra is also as humble as they come, and he is the first to give credit to his offensive line. The guys upfront have given him a lot of room to run, and he has taken advantage of it.

Steven is the latest winner of Baird Brothers Big Dog of the Valley. His community showed up and voted him to the top spot. He took the time to join YSN’s Running Point this week to talk about his season. He chats with Anthony Hartwig, and Ty Bartell about his goals, what he expects from his team the rest of the season, and much more. Don’t miss this chance to hear from the newest record holder in West Branch football.
