QUAKERS BREAK THROUGH CARROLLTON DEFENSE IN SECOND HALF

SALEM, OH- You know that when you’re observing a game in the Eastern Buckeye Conference, you’re in for a physical display.  Tuesday night was no different when Salem and Carrolton collided in “The Cab.” It took Coach Jeff Andres’ team through the first half, and halftime adjustments to finally crack the code on a 54-37 victory at home.

Drew Weir would shine once again on both sides of the ball with a 13-point performance, but it was Hunter Griffith’s gritty determination that stood out on tape.  The senior put together big-time points in key situations to keep the Warriors at bay in regards to developing any rhythm one way or the other.  Jon Null was another big contributor for the Quakers in double-digits with 11, while Cade Rohm posted 8.

Darick Miller led Carrollton with 11 points.

Salem (6-3, 4-0) will travel to Canton South for another EBC matchup on Friday night.
