QUAKERS FINISH STRONG
SALEM OH- Salem’s Ty Manion, Deontay Steele and Colin Riesen combined for 51 points to lead the Quakers to a 60-53 win over the visiting Hubbard Eagles in boys hardwoods action Monday night.
Manion nailed 3 3-points for a game high 20 points with Steele adding 19 markers and Riesen chipping in 12 points. The Quakers defense held the Eagles to 16 points in the 1st 2 quarters holding a 26-16 advantage. Jacob Hayes paced Hubbard with 20 points.
Salem ends their season slate with a 7-15 for the season and will travel to Lorain Clearview for the opening round of tournament play. Friday night. Hubbard drops to 5-17 and and will travel to Orrville also Friday night in their tournament action.
