QUAKERS TAKE VICTORY OVER RIVAL WEST BRANCH

BELOIT, OH- This season has truly been a special one for the Lady Quakers as they turn heads and prove that even despite graduating 6 seniors and losing three athletes to injuries, that they will uphold the Salem tradition and be a force to be reckoned with. Salem in their last regular-season game, added a cherry on top of their already fantastic season as they beat rival West Branch in 4 sets. The Quakers maintained composure and showcased their talent in every aspect of the game as middles Jaden Hamilton and Hayden Carner had 15 kills and 13 kills respectively and 2 blocks apiece.

Elly Exline who was recently named YSN Big Dog of the Valley for her Crestview game came in solid with 12 kills and 18 digs. In the back court, Jenna McClish made it nearly impossible for the Warriors to put a ball down with 25 digs while sisters Rylie Troy and Taylor Troy added 20 digs and 14 digs respectively. Running the offense for the Quakers, Kaylee Freeman had 33 assists and 4 aces. The Quakers finish out a tremendous season 17-5 and are looking strong going into tournaments.

In JV action, the Quakers wrap up with a loss to West Branch in 2 sets. For the Quakers, Alivia Davidson had 5 kills while Emma Hochadel had 12 assists and Kylie Skinner added 7 digs.
