RAIDERS EARLY BURST PUTS THEM PAST MOONEY

YOUNGSTOWN OH- South Range saw glimpses of everything that coach Fishel wants them to be on Saturday afternoon in Cardinal Mooney. The Raiders blew the doors off in the first half, scoring 36 points in two quarters. Five different Raiders scored in the first half as well, showing just how strong the team will be when theyre balanced. They would go on to hold off Mooney in the second half to win 51-37.

Lexi Giles led the way for the Raiders with 18 points. Grace McQuiston, and Hannah Heikkinen both chipped in with 9 points. Emma Cunningham scored 6 points to help the Raiders cause. Eight different Raiders showed up on the stat sheet.

Mooney was paced by Maria Fire Sho finished the game with 13 points. Alaina Scavina, and Olivia Rouser both finished with 8 points.

South Range will look to extend their win streak to three on Monday as they travel to Jefferson.  Mooney will look to bounce back on Wednesday on the road against Warren Harding.
