RAIDERS PASS POLAND’S TEST

POLAND, OH- South Range traveled to Poland on Homecoming night for the Bulldogs. The Homecoming crowd witnessed a scoring clinic. South Range running back Dominic Dominguez scored 4 touchdowns for the Raiders and was only outdone by quarterback Jack Fulton of Poland who contributed 5 touchdowns in the contest. South Range would outlast Poland in the end and come away with the conference win 42-34.

The Raiders got on the board first with two consecutive touchdown runs by Dominguez which gave South Range the early 14-0 lead. The Bulldogs would answer late in the second quarter with Jack Fulton going into the endzone from 1 yard out to cut the Raider lead in half to 14-7. South Range would retaliate before halftime when quarterback Billy Skirpac rushed his way to paydirt with a 2 yard touchdown run. Raiders lead 21-7 going into the locker room.

The Bulldogs and the Raiders traded touchdowns in the third quarter but in the closing minute of the third, Fulton scored another rushing touchdown from 20 yards. Then, after a sucessful onside kick, Fulton would tie the game at 28 with an 8 yard touchdown run. Raiders Skirpac would retake the lead in the next possession with a 4th down touchdown pass from 42 yard to Dominguez to give the Raiders the deciding score. South Range wins 42-34. South Range (5-0) will host Girard next week while Poland (2-3) will travel to Niles. Watch all games here on YSNLive.com.
