RAIDERS SLIP AWAY FROM STRUTHERS

CANFIELD – The South Range Lady Raiders hosted the Struthers Lady Wildcats on
Monday night where the Raiders were able to advance to 2-1 on the season with a
dominant win, 60-33. Both teams started out fast, with a quick pace. That quick pace
would start to produce turnovers by both clubs. In the 2nd quarter, the Raiders were
able to take control, and keep control all through the 2nd half.  The Raiders never
looked back and got an early victory in the season over the Wildcats.
For the Raiders, Izzy Lamparty, once again led the team in points with 19 on the night.
Behind her was Lexi Giles who added 15 points with three excellent 3s on the night for
her. Gabby Lamparty, just like her sister, had another great night with 13 points. For the
Wildcats, it was a tough night to get anything to fall as Emma Elia was held to 10 points
after coming off a 35 point game. Behind her was Emma Morris who put up 7, and Ella
Croyle with 6 on the night.
The Wildcats will be home next, on December 14th to host Louisville. The
Raiders will head to Ursuline to take on the Fighting Irish, on December 10th.
