RAIDERS STAY PERFECT IN 42-36 WIN OVER MANCHESTER

(Canfield, OH)  Team wins are the most valuable commodity for any coach, just ask Dan Yeagley.  His Raiders swapped touchdowns all evening with Akron Manchester-even being down, but not out in the first half trailing by 3 scores.

Ethan Wright led the way for Manchester with a highlight-reel 91-yard Touchdown to set the tone for the Panthers.  Manchester would go on to find the end-zone three more times for a total of 4 unanswered scores to lead 24-7.

But you know what they say: ‘Fall down seven, stand up eight.’  It was the Senior-led Raiders that not only stood up, but stood out when they battled through their first taste of adversity this year.  Senior Quarterback Aniello Buzzacco used both his arm, and his legs to keep the Panthers guessing in the second half.  Buzz would scamper in for a go-ahead TD in the fourth.  However, the play of the night went to Peyton Remish (see video above courtesy of Hudl.com)for his acrobatic play going head over heels, springing to his feet and making a huge strip-sack on third down that would set up 4th and forever for Manchester.

The Raiders would force a turnover on downs, and drip the clock dry to hold onto their 42-36 victory, and maintain their perfect season at 3-0.

South Range will now prepare for Zanesville (1-2) who have scored a combined 37 points in their 3 contests.
