NILES, OHIO- Mineral Ridge had ten hits and scored twelve runs to edge Niles 12-9.

The Rams were led by Xavier Klamer, who went 2 for 5, and scored one run and Andrew Gillie, who went 2 for 3, while scoring three runs. Klamer was also the winning pitcher of the game as he got three and a third innings of work in allowing 5 hits, 8 runs, and had 1 strikeout before being relieved by Justin Barker who got the save for the Rams.

Kris Hrosar led Niles at the plate going 3 for 5. Matt Kozak was the losing pitcher of the game allowing 8 hits, 9 runs, and had 4 strikeouts.

Mineral Ridge will return to play when they host East Palestine on Wednesday. Niles will travel to Hubbard on Monday to take on the Eagles.
