REBELS LIGHT UP LEOPARDS

COLUMBIANA, OH-  The Crestview Rebels had no trouble on offense Wednesday, winning big over Liberty 7-1.  It would be Liberty opening up scoring in the first inning, when Liberty scored one run on a stolen base.  However, Crestview would respond in the second, tallying three runs of their own-and never looked back.  The offensive onslaught by Crestview was led by Dylan HuffJeff Feo, and Issac Rickets, all driving in runs in the inning.

Devin Turvey was on the mound for the Rebels. He went five innings, allowing one run on three hits, striking out four and walking one.  Liberty’s hurler went three and a third innings, allowing seven runs on five hits, striking out two and walking none.

Altogether, Crestview racked up six hits on the day. Feo and Huff each had multiple hits for the Rebs.  Huff and Feo each collected two hits to lead Crestview.  The Black and Gold also stole eight bases during the game as three players stole more than one. Feo led the way with four.
