Crestview defeated Pymatuning Valley 13-3 on Wednesday thanks to a timely ten runs in a big first inning. The offensive onslaught came from singles by Matthew Lindsay, Jesse McKee, and Matthew Strank, a triple by Connor Hughes, a home run by Carter Blakeman, and an error on a ball put in play by Kyle Saunders.

In the first inning, Crestview got their offense started when Lindsay singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Sam Campbell was credited with the victory for the Rebels. The righty allowed six hits and three runs over five innings, striking out six. Blakeman threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen

Crestview smacked one home run on the day. Blakeman had a homer in the first inning.

The Rebels totaled 14 hits. Blakeman, Lindsay, Joey Hawkins, Hughes, and Strank all managed multiple hits. Blakeman led with three hits in four at bats.
