REBS SHUT DOWN WATERLOO

COLUMBIANA, OH- It was a pitcher’s duel on Monday on Monday, Crestview took control early against Waterloo, kicking off with Ethan Feezle smashing a double in the first inning to grab the lead. That run was all Crestview needed, but they didn’t stop there.

Ethan Feezle wasn’t just a hero at the plate; he dominated on the mound too, tossing a complete game shutout. He held Waterloo to just two hits, striking out six without issuing a single walk. On the other side, Trevor Simons battled through six innings for Waterloo but gave up four runs, though only one was earned, on a tough day where he struck out three and walked two.

Max Hawkins and Feezle delivered at the plate for Crestview, each snagging hits in a lineup that wasn’t giving much away. Feezle, batting in the heart of the order, drove in two of the four runs, making his mark with every swing.

Crestview’s fielding was flawless, not allowing any errors that could turn the game. Jayden Kimble was particularly busy, involved in ten plays.

Waterloo’s Vincent Mori and Drew Flarida tried to spark a rally, both getting hits, but the team couldn’t capitalize on their efforts.

With this win, Crestview continues to show their strength both on the mound and at the plate, while Waterloo will look to bounce back in their next outing.
